Salford Rise is seen as a key piece of the masterplan, linking two areas separated by Frederick Road.
The project will see an 11-metre-wide, 90-metre-long podium constructed. The scheme is aimed at removing a “significant barrier to movement” within the 250-acre masterplan area and turning the area into a 15-minute neighbourhood.
- Working through stages 1-4, from attaining £13m levelling up fund money to satisfying planning technical approvals.
- Service diversions, abandonments and protections.
- Drainage design for the proposed bridge and surrounding areas using cascading SuDS principals.
- Highway works to the adjacent roads.
- Consulting on alignment and levels strategy with other engineers and managing other disciplines deliverables as the lead discipline on the project.
