Cheshire Archives, Chester (Curtins)

This project consists of a two-story steel framed structure comprising composite slabs at first and second floor with a lightweight double-pitched roof above. The ground floor holds exhibition spaces, a café, an auditorium, search rooms and numerous ancillary plant and storage spaces. The first floor houses the archive itself, a conservation studio and a semi-enclosed plant room.
